On May 24-25, 2016, an away meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held

on the basis of the Institute of Pig Breeding and APV of the National Academy of Sciences.

On May 25, 2016, a visiting meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences was held at the Institute of Pig Breeding and Animal Husbandry of the National Academy of Sciences devoted to the issue of "System of scientific and technological support for the intensification of animal husbandry". More than 50 people took part in the meeting - members of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, head of the Poltava Regional State Administration Valery Golovko, director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Poltava Regional State Administration Serhiy Frolov, heads of district administrations, directors of scientific institutions and research farms of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, heads of professional public organizations in the field animal husbandry, industry specialists.

On May 24, the participants visited two experimental farms of the Institute of Pig Breeding and Animal Husbandry - SE Dekabristov State Farm and Stepne State Farm, where they got acquainted with the demonstration fields of agricultural crops and technologies for the production of animal husbandry products and the breeding of breeding young animals, and visited breeding farms.
