Key questions of the online seminar:

- Is it possible to get high indicators of both meat and milk from one breed?

- Why is the Flekvi cattle breed #1 in Austria?

- What technologies and smart-solutions help Austrian cattle farms implement the "fork to farm" strategy?

Based on the results of the webinar on the Austrian approach to milk and meat production, the following conclusion can be drawn:

- Family farms are finely structured, focused on quality production.

- The specificity of pastures is their own feed production.

- Breeds of the combined direction of productivity - production of milk and meat thanks to one breed, increased stability in production.

- Comprehensive approach to breeding - significant development of indicators in milk production with high-quality composition, special emphasis on good physical condition, longevity and duration of productivity.

- Organized cooperative sales - small businesses can also be involved in sales.
