On the third Saturday of May, Ukraine celebrates the professional holiday of scientific workers - Science Day. This holiday is established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated February 14, 1997 No. 145/97.

Today, science plays an increasingly important role in the economy and social life of the country, which ensures its affirmation in the modern world community. After all, only thanks to advanced science can a dynamic economy be built, capable of withstanding competition and ensuring sustainable development and social unity of society.
