March 4, 2025 at the Institute of Pig Breeding and Agroindustrial Production of the NAAS under the chairmanship of Acting Rector Deputy Director for Scientific Work Andriy ONISHCHENKO held a meeting of the methodological commission, during which the methods of scientific research on the topic of dissertation work of applicants of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in specialty 204 "TVPPT" of the first year of postgraduate study were heard.

The goal of the postgraduate students' scientific research is to increase the productivity of pigs of various breeds through the use of innovative technologies for the production of pig products, methods of crossing and hybridization, modern DNA technologies, which will ensure close interaction between science and production, as well as increase the profitability of the industry for the production of high-quality and accessible products for the population. The members of the methodological commission made many valid comments on the topic of the dissertation work in the context of the presented methods, the research scheme, the methods planned to be used during experimental research, the duration of the research, which in total will allow the postgraduate students to conduct research at a high scientific level in a timely manner, publish and test the results of the research, write a dissertation and defend it in a timely manner in a special council. By the decision of the methodological commission, all the heard methods of the postgraduate students' scientific research works, taking into account the comments and additions, were unanimously approved.
