BRYUSHININ IVAN GRYGOROVICH
(25.07.1905–15.06.1982)
Born on July 25, 1905 in the village of Vasilyevo, Kirillovsky district, Vologda region (Russian Federation).
In 1922 he graduated from the Lukin Agricultural College (Kyrilovsky District), and in 1928 from the Mordvin Agricultural College (Leningrad Region), in 1932 from the Zootechnical Faculty of the Leningrad Agricultural Institute (Pushkin), in 1935 from the postgraduate studies at the Department of Feed and Feeding of the same Institute. In 1937, at the special council of the Leningrad Agricultural Institute, he defended his candidate's thesis on the topic: "Application of Gravitsin in Fattening Pigs", carried out at the Detskoselsk Zootechnical Laboratory under the supervision of Professor M. I. Dyakov. In 1963, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Issues of Phosphorus and Calcium Nutrition of Pigs" at the Special Council of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy.
3 From 1935 to 1938, he worked as the head of the Department of Feeding at the Vologda Agricultural Institute. 3 From 1937 to 1938, he was the acting director of the Vologda Agricultural Institute; in 1938–1940, he was the director of the Kirov Zoovet Institute (Kirov); in 1940–1941, he was the deputy director for scientific work of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Pig Breeding (Poltava); in 1941–1944, he was the director and lecturer of the Pavlovsky Veterinary College (Pavlovsky District, Altai Territory); in 1944–1947, he was the deputy director for scientific work of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Pig Breeding. Director of Scientific Work of the Poltava Scientific Research Institute of Pig Breeding (Now the Institute of Pig Breeding and Animal Husbandry of the NAAS); in 1947–1969 – Senior Research Fellow, Consultant of the Feeding Department of the same institute.
During his work, he carried out a significant amount of experimental work on pig feeding, among which works on mineral nutrition and combined silos are of particular importance.
The scientific works of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Bryushinin I.G. on pig feeding are known to a wide range of scientists and practicing pig farmers in Ukraine and abroad.
He published over 60 scientific works of theoretical and practical significance.
Bryushinin I.G. He did a great job training the young generation of scientists, carefully and persistently passing on to them his knowledge and rich experience in scientific research.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.
He died on June 15, 1982 in Poltava.
